Don’t be a victim! Do you desire to learn self-defense techniques that actually work against an assailant? Want more defensive shooting experience and skills? Can you render first aid to yourself or others if there was a shooting or attack? This is a high-paced and jam-packed day of learning and moving. This class is specifically designed for women to gain a wealth of knowledge and experience in a one-day class.

There is a prerequisite for this class: participant must have a minimum of a Basic Pistol Training Class or a completed CCW certificate.

This in a unique opportunity for women of the WV, KY & OH Tri-State region to learn defensive firearm skills, hands-on self-defense and grappling skills and first aid techniques for immediate life-saving medical trauma care. There will be a line-up of qualified instructors from law enforcement, paramedics and trauma doctors providing over ten (10) hours of self-defense.

Course curriculum will include:

// Hand-to-hand combat and self-defense disarming techniques

// Firearms training including defensive shooting training and shooting while in an attack

// Aftermath of deadly force

// Emergency casualty care and immediate trauma first aid

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:

• Comfortable clothes you can move and get dirty in; stretchy or old t-shirts and undershirts recommended

• Sneakers or old tennis shoes

• Pistol (semi-automatic) in caliber of your choosing

• Minimum of two (2) pistol magazines (four magazines is recommended due to time and amount of shooting)

• Sturdy holster and belt (how you carry your firearm daily)

• Snap Caps or dummy rounds for your caliber pistol

• Three-hundred fifty (350) rnd(s) ammunition

• Eye & Ear protection

• Appropriate range gear/attire

• Baseball or ball cap or hat with a brim

• Bug spray and/or sunscreen recommended

• Beverage(s) – bottle with cap

Lunch will be provided; however you may wish to bring high-energy snacks such as granola bars or energy bars as this is a high-paced, jam-packed day of instruction and exercises.

Preregistration is required; $165.50/pp ($175.44 tax included). ETC Training Alumni may register for $145.50/pp ($154.24 tax included). You may place a $25.00 non-refundable deposit to reserve your space (remaining balance due upon check-in day of course). A bundled Pre-Registration package includes class tuition, t-shirt, ammunition for range live fire and firearm rental (and holster): $275.00 ($291.50 tax included).

Participants should arrive no later than 7:30 AM to complete necessary paperwork.

Firearm rental is available for class as well; $30.00 ($31.80 with tax) for the day with advance notification (ammunition is additional).
