This series of clinics are specifically designed to reinforce the basics of utilizing and deploying the AR/Carbine rifle. Additionally, participants will have an opportunity to focus on a single discipline each weekly clinic, therefore strengthening the foundation for shooting the AR/Carbine rifle.

Have you always wanted to get an AR-15 or AR-10 for home defense, but been a little skeptical or maybe intimidated? How about hearing all the misconceptions about the AR rifle platform and didn’t really understand it?
These bi-weekly clinics specifically designed to provide you an opportunity to learn about the rifle, it’s capabilities and focus on the basics; Each clinic will provide drills and exercises on how to use or deploy the rifle for home defense or self-defense use. There is no better 2-hours spent on the range with instructors and RSO's.
Edwards Training Center and Outdoor Range is proud to announce a new and enhanced, “Training Tuesday”. The series consists of eight (8) classes/clinics designed to help the individual improve and maintain their tactical rifle skills and manipulations. Each class/clinic will be offered bi-weekly on Tuesdays; 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM beginning on Tuesday, June 19. Each bi-weekly class/clinic will build on the previous in the continued series – however, participation in every bi-weekly class is not required. Completing the series will help the individual become a better trained, experienced and well-rounded armed civilian, be better prepared to defend themselves and their loved ones in utilizing the AR/Carbine rifle for home defense.
Training Tuesdays are clinics designed to enhance and enforce what you have learned previously but also increase POSITIVE training techniques under the guidance of trained professionals and an RSO. You will learn a specific discipline each week building throughout the series of clinics. Each week the clinic will focus on a different skill.
The fee for each clinic will be on a per session basis, being $26.50 (tax included) per session, per individual (pre-paid). Range time and target(s) are included, however the firearm, ammunition and dummy rounds (snap caps) will need to be provided by the participant. Average round count per clinic will be around two-hundred and fifty (250) rounds. Each session will be limited to sixteen (16) participants. Although not required, it is highly recommended that the participant complete each session in consecutive order building upon each learned skill.
Week Three
Reloads
Is one magazine enough? Probably not. Can you conduct smooth and efficient reloads as if your life depends on it? This clinic will give you an insight as to where and how to carry additional magazines and access them efficiently. Speed reloads with retention will be key.
EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:
• AR/Carbine Rifle in caliber of your choosing (i.e., .223, 5.56, .308)
• Three (3) AR/Carbine magazines
• Sturdy belt and sling (two-point sling is recommended)
• Snap Caps or dummy rounds for your caliber rifle
• Two-hundred and fifty (250) rounds ammunition
• Eye & Ear protection
• Appropriate range gear/attire
