About the event

CQB:  Home Defense Tactics

Saturday, March 28, 2020  | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Instructors: Steve Morrison;  Assistant: Dwight Edwards

THIS CLASS IS LIMITED TO TEN (10) Participants.  Pre-requisites for this class exist; Participant MUST have had Handgun I and minimum of CCW (basic firearm safety training course).

This is a single-day course; Participants should pre-register as spaces are extremely limited.

More than seventy-percent (70%) of firearm owners are pistol owners, and unfortunately due to recent statistics, you are more likely to use your pistol for self-defense in your home than any other location.  There are certain tactics and techniques you need to utilize when using a pistol for self-defense in your home to keep you, and your family safe.

This course will teach you a variety of techniques should you need to use a firearm against an intruder or attacker. Even though we hope we never have to do so, this will show you the realistic settings and obstacles you will need to overcome if defending against an intruder, or should you come home, believe someone may be in your home or potentially harming a loved one.

This course will engage multiple targets in a live 270 degree shoot house and will incorporate a variety of scenarios using your handgun. Participants are asked to bring their carry rig (sidearm with holster and/or concealment set-up) and will practice effectively clearing and working their way through the home. This will be a high-paced class with shooting on the move and under stress.
