Carbine I: Intro & Intermediate

Saturday, April 27, 2019 | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Instructor: Steve Morrison; Assistant(s): Michael Henshall

THIS CLASS IS LIMITED TO SIXTEEN (16) Participants.

The AR-15 has become a popular home defense option for it's light weight, ease of operation and relative low recoil. However, many people have little to no training in setting it up and using it as an effective and reliable home defense system. Participants will become familiarized with the AR-15 / Carbine rifle platform and will learn the basic gun-handling skills that are necessary to safely operate and maintain this weapon system.

Participants will also learn about nomenclature, disassembly/reassembly, mechanical operation, maintenance and care, zeroing sights & optics, shooting positions, proper sling and carry use, reloads, malfunction clearing and much more.
