Advanced Handgun: Low Light Pistol Fighting

THIS CLASS IS LIMITED TO TWELVE (12) Participants. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. This is a six hour training course.

This is an intense, high-paced pistol training class; participants will perform under low-light conditions and practice realistic self-defense encounters using a concealed weapon and weapon light or auxiliary light.

A flashlight can be a vital part of your everyday carry (EDC). In this class, you will explore the necessity and usefulness of a flashlight vs a weapon mounted light, the various holds of an auxiliary flashlight while using a firearm and then live fire practice on a range and in a live shoot house, all while in low-light conditions.

Participants will learn techniques and dry-fire practice in the classroom and then move to the outdoor range before advancing into a more realistic setting in the live shoot house, encompassing techniques learned in this course.

Equipment Required:

• Preferred semi-automatic pistol/sidearm in caliber of your choice
• 300-400 rnd(s) of ammunition (no reloads except factory reloads)
• Three (3) pistol magazines
• Magazine holder (belt holder)
• A durable flashlight with rear-button activation & back-up battery
• A weapon mounted light (i.e., SureFire or Streamlight mounted light) & back-up battery
• Eye and Ear Protection
• Ball cap/hat with a visor
• Gloves
• Proper range wear/gear required

Please dress appropriately and in layers; instruction is indoor in classroom and outdoors on range

and in live shoot house

• Cleaning Kit
• Bagged Lunch, Snacks and/or beverage/s with a lid (cap)

Preregistration is preferred; $125.00/pp ($132.50 with WV State Sales Tax). You may place a $25.00 non-refundable deposit to reserve your space (remaining balance due upon check-in day of course). Due to the nature of this course, we do require participants to register by Wedneday, November 27, 2018. We reserve the option to reschedule the course due to a minimum requirement of five (5) students.

Participants should arrive no later than 12:45 PM to complete necessary paperwork.

Due to the nature of this course, we strongly encourage anyone who wishes to purchase or utilize a weapon mounted light to contact us ASAP! It is significantly important that you have the correct holster that can accommodate your pistol and mounted light PRIOR to class. We can assist you with getting the proper weapon mounted light and kydex holster prior to class.
