ACTIVE SHOOTER RESPONSE SEMINAR

We live in very unfortunate and uncertain times, and being aware and prepared for any life-threatening situation can play an intergral role in mitigating the impacts of an active shooter incident. This three-hour long seminar will provide you with extremely useful knowledge from local law enforcement SWAT and SRT professionals, including strategical and tactical techniques when involved in an Active Shooter situation and some scenario based training involving participants. We will give you best practices associated with preparing for and responding to an active shooter situation, including trauma first aid instructed by local ER trauma and tactical team doctor.

You will learn how to control and stop an active shooter using unarmed and armed tactics. Some light physical activity will be involved in this seminar. We will focus on teaching tactics to help one survive through an active shooter event, what to expect from arriving law enforcement and how to treat individuals who may have been shot or attacked by the threat.

This seminar is more comprehensive than “Run, Hide, Fight”. This seminar is open to anyone and everyone is encouraged to register.

• Pen and notebook or pad
• First Aid Kit / IFAK

Preregistration is recommended; this class is only open to eighteen (18) participants. Class sign-in 6:15 PM, class will begin promptly at 6:30 PM.
